Mesh Topology

On mesh topology,each of the computer and network devices is interconnected with one another.Here even if a node fails transmission can be distributed.In mesh topology,point-to-point connection is created between every device on the network

The devices are uniquely identified by means of a network address.if a device wants to send a data to another,it can send directly to the destination.if one network cable fails,the data always has an alternative path to get to its detination

Advantage:

• The arrangement of the network nodes is such that it is possible to transmit data from one node to may other nodes at the same time

Disadvantage:

• The arrangement where every network is connected to every other node of the network leads to the redundancy of many of the network connections
