• Circuit switching is the transmission technology that has been used from 19th century


• In tcircuit switching physical connection between two computer is established and then the data is transmitted from source to destination


• when a computer places telephone call, the switching equipment within the telephone system seeks out a physical path from source telephone to destination telephone


• It sets up end to end connection between computer before any data to be sents this technique is called circuit switching
