Reliance Retail has added a new member to its LYF range with the launch of the Water 11. It comes as a successor to the LYF Water 10, which was launched last week. The phone has been listed on the company’s website for Rs 8,199, and is expected to go on sale via brick-and-mortar retail stores like Reliance Digital and Digital Express in the coming days.

The LYF Water 11 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display bearing a pixel density of 294ppi. It utilises a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek 6735A processor, mated to 3GB of RAM and a Mali T720-MP2 GPU. The phone offers 16GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. Camera features include a 13-meg autofocus rear snapper with 1080p video recording, and a 5-meg front shooter.

In terms of connectivity, the Water 11 offers 4G with VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, USB OTG and GPS. It is fuelled by a 2,100mAh battery, which offers up to seven hours of talk time. Software-wise, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, and comes with gesture controls.

Similar to other LYF-branded smartphones, the Water 11 also comes bundled with a Reliance Jio SIM. Following the company’s announcement on Thursday, it will also fall under the Jio Welcome Offer that includes unlimited data, calling, SMS, and access to premium content till December 31st.
